I remember the first time my great grandmother did something that frightened me half to death. She didn’t put on a scary mask. She didn’t reach out her had to startle me as I came around some corner. What she did that frightened me, was done so in a very nonchalant manner. Great grandma reached into her mouth and pulled out her teeth.
As a child, I was only starting to understand that my teeth would be lost one at a time, and replaced by my adult teeth. In that one instant, my great grandma ruined my entire perception of the rules of teeth.

Dentures come in all shapes and sizes. Some people may only need partial dentures, or for either the upper or lower part of their mouth.
Some people believe that they should have all of their teeth pulled and replaced by when they have some bad teeth already. This is not recommended, as most only allow for 10% the chewing power of natural teeth.
